Fit Guide

How they should fit

The right pair feels snug around the ball of your foot without being tight, and your heel will lift about an inch to an inch and a half when you walk. This will ease as the leather sole softens, but there will always be a bit of lift.

We do not recommend choosing a boot that feels tight across the ball of your foot. While leather will warm and conform to the shape of your foot over time, it will not stretch enough to compensate for an improper fit. Our boots should feel comfortable from the start and only get better with wear!

Should you have any fit questions or believe you are in-between sizes, please email us, we would love to help!

1. Start with your usual size. Our boots run true to size.

2. Wear your everyday sock. A medium weight sock lets the leather insole mold around your foot over time.

3. Walk in them. Snug at the ball with a little heel lift means you've found your pair.

4. Comfort Insert. Every pair of boot comes included with a removable comfort insert. Our boots fit truest to size with the insert removed, however, if you have a narrow foot, or want to wear with a light sock or stocking, keeping the insert inside the boot and will remove any extra room.
